 Weight
This is described by it’s “GSM” number...
(simply put... it’s the weight in Grams per Square Metre)
Printer / Copier paper = 80/90 gsm
Standard Card = 160gsm
(Card) Board = 200gsm or higher

 160gsm card is suitable for Backing Papers etc
220gsm is ideal for Card Blanks with light embellishments on
 260-300gsm is recommended for Card Blanks with heavier embellishments
When purchasing copier paper, the term “Ream” refers to 500 sheets.
